Master–Piece was founded in 1994 on the concept of “Made in Japan”. This was an era when the idea of developing bags for men was in its infancy and it was during this period that Master–Piece established and developed their own identity and personality. In 2008 they made the farsighted decision to build and establish their own manufacturing factory. This has allowed Master–Piece to overcome what many producers in “1st world” face, that of production facilities and skilled labour. Their young apprentices now work along side the skilled “master craftsmen” from previous generations and the knowledge and spirit of “Made in Japan” is preserved and past on for future generations.

Please note that it is not completely waterproof and cannot prevent water from entering through the needle holes in the sewn parts. If the nylon material is left wet for a long time, the film on the back may peel off or deteriorate, so be sure to dry it before storing. Water repellent treatment is a surface treatment, so as you continue to use it, the effect will fade due to friction and other factors. Water repellency can also be lost due to dust or other dirt that adheres to the fabric. After use, we recommend brushing to remove dirt and frequently using a commercially available water repellent spray.
