Samurai Jeans was established in Osaka in 1998 based on the concept that jeans ultimately have no value unless the creator and wearer are united in their commitment. They strive to create fabrics with unique texture and atmosphere, pushing the envelope of what is possible with denim by paying close attention to the provenance of the cotton types they use, their characteristics, the shape of the threads they spin, while also striving to use traditional Japanese dyeing and weaving techniques rather than the more modern and generic methods found elsewhere. A new type of coverall made from herringbone fabric. The fabric is his 13oz SWC original herringbone denim using gray yarn for the weft. Since the weft is woven with gray–dyed nep yarn, the color of the warp yarn creates a very atmospheric fabric that allows you to enjoy the aging that is unique to herringbone denim. Based on U.S. store brand coveralls, in addition to the details seen in authentic work items such as the distinctive raglan sleeves and triple–stitch wrapping stitching, the buttonholes, bolt closures, and bobbin threads are red. The fabric has a sturdy and thick feel, making it an item that can be worn with any season.
