Nanamica was founded by Japanese designer Eiichiro Homma whoo was also the creative mind behind The North Face Purple Label. Using his relationship with many of the world’s leading high–tech fabric mills Nanamica and Eiichiro have become one of the most influential forces in Japan and arguably the world’s functional / life–style clothing market.
Nanamica (House of the seven seas) takes much of it’s inspiration from vintage utility and sports–wear and reinterprets it in a very modern way with the idea of creating perfect casual wear that does not compromise on function or fashion. A desire to reflect the times while being basic enough to wear for many years is the principal behind the designs.

GORE–TEX boots with GORE–TEX membrane in a chukka boot shape, a technology that can only be produced in very few factories worldwide. This GORE–TEX product excels in waterproof and breathable properties, keeping your feet dry and comfortable / Based on REGAL’s classic saddle shoes last, these chukka boots were custom–made for this collaboration / The upper material is crafted from cowhide leather from Sanyo Leather, a leading domestic tanner / Between the insole and midsole, a material from the American insole manufacturer Ortholite is used, providing a high level of cushioning similar to running shoe insoles / The tongue is equipped with thick sponge padding to improve comfort / The outsole is made of Vibram’s Christie Morflex sole, known for its light weight, cushioning, and durability / These boots are Goodyear welted, allowing for sole replacement / Replacement laces are included.
