12oz Indigo Denim Turn of the Century Overalls LOT 1220
Low–back style overalls that look like classic trousers with a simple apron. It is thought to have been made from the turn of the century to around the 1910s, and at that time it was worn with a simple jacket called a sack jacket instead of coveralls. The selvedge part is used abundantly in denim, but this is thought to be related to the width of the fabric at the time. Since the width of the fabric was narrow, a stenciling method was adopted in which the fabric was used from edge to edge. All the sewing is done with lockstitches, and there are idyllic but polite specifications such as allocating fabric to places where stress is applied, such as the back and crotch.
