Kichizo Yoshida established Yoshida & Co in 1935 in Japan and then created their own “private brand” Porter in 1962. Their iconic Tanker series was released in 1982 and many more iconic styles and series have followed in the intervening years. Kichizo Yoshida’s motto of “one stitch all soul” is still today the companies motto. Their belief in the craftsmen of Japan as number one in the world is unwavering. Their passion, attitude, skill and faith in their work is what “Heart and soul in every stitch” is all about. Always made in Japan.

The Porter Crag series is a casual bag collection with a unique deep colour and texture that can only be created by garment dyeing. They use an original back satin fabric, which is a high–density woven blend of nylon and cotton. A deeper shade is obtained by performing two bath dyes in which two different dye liquors are continuously dipped in order to dye different materials. The garment dyeing along with the drying process after dyeing creates a unique texture on the bags.

Postage within the UK is £8.00 and will be provided by DHL EXPRESS – a fully tracked next business day service. If we receive your order by 12.00pm Monday – Friday, we will get it to you next business day. If you order after 12.00pm on Friday then your order will leave on the following Monday.
