Their iconic Tanker series was released in 1982 and many more iconic styles and series have followed in the intervening years. Kichizo Yoshida’s motto of “one stitch all soul” is still today the companies motto. Their belief in the craftsmen of Japan as number one in the world is unwavering. Their passion, attitude, skill and faith in their work is what “Heart and soul in every stitch” is all about. Always made in Japan.
Black Heat Series Tote Bag
The “HEAT” series combines two different, durable and water–resistant materials for a rugged yet stylish design. The main material is Japanese–made ballistic nylon, woven with 66 nylon thread, which is also used in car airbags and bulletproof vests for its heat–, abrasion–, and tear–resistant properties. Parts of the bag feature highly water–resistant tarpaulin, a material often used for industrial materials. While the bag is solid black, the combination of different textures creates a stylish design with striking contrasts.
Military touches are incorporated throughout, including the PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System), which allows you to attach pouches and small items by sewing nylon tape at regular intervals. D–rings and double rings are also attached to the main body, allowing you to coordinate your accessories with carabiners and wallet chains.
The bag’s body is accented with thick, high–density nylon tape, preventing sagging and creating a three–dimensional silhouette for easy handling.
