Indigo Denim 1953 Model Denim Jacket (LOT 2002XX)

This so–called “second” model is considered the most authentic denim jacket model. The previous single pocket was replaced with an evenly spaced pocket on both sides, and the workwear color scheme was eliminated, marking the first step toward a more balanced, fashionable garment. However, this early model still retains a somewhat pastoral feel, with leather patches and rivet reinforcement still intact. It’s interesting how, compared to later, more refined versions, the impression of the “first model” remains.
