Frizmworks was founded 2010 in South Korea by An Jong Hyun with a commitment to sustainability and a desire to create a product of interesting detail and quality at a fair price. He takes inspiration from classic designs of previous eras along with his own interpretation of these styles, the result being a unique product of detail, quality and price.
Originally designed as essential survival gear for an American Exposition attempting the first ascent of K2 in 1953, Frizmworks have taken inspiration from Eddie Bauers iconic garment designed for extreme cold conditions.
Using 60/40 cotton/nylon for the shell, this fabric provides good protection for the wearer as the blend is known for its durability and weather resistance.
The 420g of high–quality duck down insulation was pioneering of its time and still to this days offers exceptional warmth.
The parka also includes a robust closure system, with a YKK 2–way zipper, ample pockets both front and back for supplies, a well structured hood and internal ribbed cuffs to protect against wind and snow.
Frizmworks have preserved the aesthetic of the previous eras while providing us with a parka with enhanced functionality for today.
