Frizmworks was founded 2010 in South Korea by An Jong Hyun with a commitment to sustainability and a desire to create a product of interesting detail and quality at a fair price. He takes inspiration from classic designs of previous eras along with his own interpretation of these styles, the result being a unique product of detail, quality and price.
The Altavia Down Jacket is inspired by vintage US outdoor jackets form the 50’s & 60’s, blending classic aesthetics with modern technically functionality incorporating Frizmworks philosophy for quality, practicality and durability.
Both the exterior and lining are made of a lightweight, down–proof micro nylon ripstop, fully waterproof and durable without being bulky.
The jacket is filled with premium DIVO duck down for optimal warmth and loft with a weight of 280–300g depending on the size and a down to feather ratio of 80:20.
Thoughtfully engineered the body is divided into saddle panels to adjust the amount of down to create a sense of volume while maintaining a balanced silhouette, with vertical shoulder divisions for structure. Large zip pockets and hand pockets provide practical storage and warmth, while adjustable elastic drawstrings at the hood and hem provide options for different silhouettes. Lightweight YKK Vision zippers completes the functional, versatile design.
