Daiki Suzuki created Engineered Garments in NYC in 1999. We introduced the collection in our store in 2003 and have been stocking their beautifully constructed garments ever since. Daiki’s has a great respect for the past but a strong desire to create something relative for today. His design along with EG’s fantastic production produces a truly unique garment.

Olive Cotton Sanded Cloth Bedford Jacket

The most iconic EG jacket. The Bedford Jacket appears in every collection.

The removable buttons are fastened with metal ringlets, a reference to designs made for factory workers who may not have had the time or skill to sew on replacement buttons. Another sign of the jacket’s utilitarian nature is the additional stitching on the yoke and through the front and side of the body. Commonly found on uniforms and workwear, additional stitches on stress points allows for greater durability, increasing the lifespan of the garment.

Postage within the UK is £10.00 and will be provided by DHL EXPRESS – a fully tracked next business day service. If we receive your order by 12.00pm Monday – Friday, we will get it to you next business day. If you order after 12.00pm on Friday then your order will leave on the following Monday.
