Samurai Jeans was established in Osaka in 1998 based on the concept that jeans ultimately have no value unless the creator and wearer are united in their commitment. They strive to create fabrics with unique texture and atmosphere, pushing the envelope of what is possible with denim by paying close attention to the provenance of the cotton types they use, their characteristics, the shape of the threads they spin, while also striving to use traditional Japanese dyeing and weaving techniques rather than the more modern and generic methods found elsewhere. Indigo 15oz Otokogi Selvedge Regular Straight Jean (S0510XX–11)

This is a renewed model of the Samurai Vintage Series “S510HX”. The denim is 15.8oz Samurai Cotton GL3 selvedge woven with Samurai Cotton in the weft on the old GL3 power loom. The cloth bags are made of a kinari–colored selvedge fabric and the jeans are finished off with SAMURAI JAPAN iron buttons and thick, two–pronged hidden brass rivets. The leather label is based on early Samurai Jeans designs, and the flasher has also been given a vintage touch. As always, the sewing specs and techniques have been carefully considered and executed to reproduce that old–time atmosphere with utmost attention paid to the cotton threads used as well as the needle count and stitch width, among other considerations. The silhouette is a regular straight with a bit of room in the rise and waist, tapering gradually towards the hem.

Postage within the UK is £10.00 and will be provided by DHL EXPRESS – a fully tracked next business day service. If we receive your order by 12.00pm Monday – Friday, we will get it to you next business day. If you order after 12.00pm on Friday then your order will leave on the following Monday.
