Dark Navy 4 Needle Sweat Cardigan (LOT 498)

 

Crafted from a mid–weight, 100% cotton loopwheel (Tsuri–ami) fleece. This traditional Japanese knitting method creates a fabric with no side seams and a soft, “bouncy” texture that retains its shape over years of wear. The inside is brushed (Ura–kimo), providing excellent heat retention and a plush, vintage feel against the skin. flat–seam (4–needle) construction. This is a labor–intensive vintage technique that creates flat, durable seams which are more comfortable and prevent chafing compared to modern overlock seams. Original Nut Buttons: The front closure features buttons made from Corozo (tagua nut). Unlike plastic, these have a natural grain and a high–end matte finish that develops a patina over time. Pockets: It features two symmetrical patch pockets on the waist, which are both functional and nod to 1940s–50s sportswear aesthetics. V–Neckline: The neckline is designed with a clean V–cut, making it versatile for layering over a button–down shirt for a “preppy” look or a simple T–shirt for a casual vibe
