The “Loft” Fabric Conception (The Triple–Layer Sandwich)
The defining feature of this jacket is its proprietary three–layer “sandwich” fabric construction. The term “Loft” plays on two meanings: a poetic nod to the sky or heaven, and a practical nod to an attic where you might uncover a beautiful, forgotten vintage garment.
The Outer Layer: A high–tension polyester–cotton gabardine sourced from the historic Majocchi mill in Italy (65% polyester, 35% cotton).
The Middle Layer: A raw, loomstate, 100% organic cotton open–cell mesh.
The Lining (Inner Layer): A 100% cotton, lightly brushed Peach Cotton Oxford. This gives the interior of the jacket an incredibly soft, velvety, skin–friendly texture that feels broken–in from day one.
