Working is a collaborative project between Wiliam Kroll (Tender & Co) and Robert Newman (Head of design Massimo Osti Studio). You can see the experimental and creative process of both William and Robert with in the designs and materials of “Working”. Manufactured in UK and Japan.
Eiffel Oxford Peach Cotton Loft jacket
The Silhouette: It sits somewhere between a classic mid–century laboratory worker’s coat, a vintage British railway worker’s overcoat, and a relaxed, unstructured duster. It has a generous, slightly A–line drape that allows it to easily layer over thick knitwear or a technical liner.
The “Step” Naming: The jacket gets its name from its uniquely staggered, asymmetric button placket and structural pocket alignment. True to historical workwear, everything is engineered around motion and function—meaning the seams and “steps” are placed to allow maximum mobility without putting stress on the fabric.
The Buttons: It features the collection’s signature custom buttons made from bio–derived cellulose acetate harvested from recycled cigarette filters—a beautifully gritty, tactile nod to urban workwear culture.
The “Loft” Fabric Conception (The Triple–Layer Sandwich)
The defining feature of this jacket is its proprietary three–layer “sandwich” fabric construction. The term “Loft” plays on two meanings: a poetic nod to the sky or heaven, and a practical nod to an attic where you might uncover a beautiful, forgotten vintage garment.
The Outer Layer: A high–tension polyester–cotton gabardine sourced from the historic Majocchi mill in Italy (65% polyester, 35% cotton).
The Middle Layer: A raw, loomstate, 100% organic cotton open–cell mesh.
The Lining (Inner Layer): A 100% cotton, lightly brushed Peach Cotton Oxford. This gives the interior of the jacket an incredibly soft, velvety, skin–friendly texture that feels broken–in from day one.
