Although established in 1979 by Shigeharu Tagakiand it wasn’t until 1986 that Studio D’Artisan created it’s iconic DO–1 Jean. Having worked previously in France, SDA takes it inspiration from a French perspective on Americana and through their own production always looking to push beyond the original. A vanguard product with the soul of Made in Japan.

Indigo Reversible Sweatshirt (D8183)

This reversible sweatshirt is designed to be worn entirely inside out, giving you two distinct looks in one garment. The face side features a comfortable indigo french terry (urake) woven from rope–dyed indigo yarns. The reverse side features a textured indigo waffle knit, also crafted using rope–dyed indigo yarns.

Because both sides utilize authentic rope–dyed threads, you can fully enjoy the rich, high–contrast fading and aging characteristics unique to indigo on both faces of the garment.

Please Note: Indigo Colour Transfer: Due to the nature of indigo dye, the color may bleed or transfer onto lighter–coloured clothing, upholstery, or skin during wear. Please exercise caution when pairing with light garments.

Postage within the UK is £10.00 and will be provided by DHL EXPRESS – a fully tracked next business day service. If we receive your order by 12.00pm Monday – Friday, we will get it to you next business day. If you order after 12.00pm on Friday then your order will leave on the following Monday.
