Orslow was created by Ichiro Nakatsu in 2005. His reference point is the military and workwear of the late 19th and the 20th century. His desire is to create and craft a product that breathes the warmth and attention that goes into the slow consideration off his production. The quality and character of the past but for today and tomorrow.

Indigo Linen Denim Loose fit WW11 1940’s Coverall (6250–L81)

A–Line Shape

100% Japanese linen fabric utilising a classic 3×1 structural twill weave—the exact weave used to create traditional denim.

During World War II, the U.S. government placed strict restrictions on manufacturers to preserve metal, fabric, and thread for the military. This resulted in “simplified” workwear. Fewer Buttons: Traditional chore coats feature 5 front buttons; this version is simplified to 4 front buttons. Simpler Pockets: Instead of the standard four front utility pockets, this design features 2 lower patch pockets, eliminating the top chest pockets to save on fabric and labour. The jacket utilises brass buttons stamped with the laurel leaf design, which was a generic, government–authorised button style used by multiple brands during the war when custom brand–stamping was restricted.

Postage within the UK is £10.00 and will be provided by DHL EXPRESS – a fully tracked next business day service. If we receive your order by 12.00pm Monday – Friday, we will get it to you next business day. If you order after 12.00pm on Friday then your order will leave on the following Monday.
